Care Tips
Keep your new merch looking killer! For light cleaning, gently wipe wood shelves using a soft moist cloth and warm water, then dry immediately. For additional care and protection we recommend Howard Wood care products to clean, polish and condition.
Step 1
If using a mild cleaner, dilute it in a warm bucket of water
Step 2
Immerse a clean microfiber cloth into the bucket then wring it out
Step 3
Gently wipe surface clean
Step 4
Repeat steps as needed

My $500 shelf arrived damaged. And not from shipping. There was no damage to the packaging. I asked for a discount and was offered $15 for the price of a touch-up pen. Unbelievable.

The shelves are terrific. The magnetic cover plates are very cool. The only issue was some scratches in the finish due to rubbing in the shipping.

A friend is an interior designer and pointed me in your direction. I ordered a 7' length in really red and was so excited to finally have found a shelf that didn't look awful and bulky. I was confident in Shelfology's design and their manufacturing process and thought that the packaging they decided on would get the custom item delivered in good shape so I opted to skip additional shipping insurance. UPS delivered the item, took a confirmation photo from across the yard and called it a day. The 90 lb shelf was packed in cardboard and foam sheets and the package was trashed when it arrived. Unfortunately there are scuffs on both corners and a dent in the center which is a feat becauee its 1/4" steel. After much communication the offer stands to repair the item for free if I cover the $300 shipping. I've already purchased a custom item, expected it to arrive in good condition and am being asked to contribute more to return the scratch and dent item to its original glory. I find this unreasonable and the shelf is waiting in the garage (instead of basking in the kitchen where it belongs) until we can come to an agreement.

Thank you for giving us an opportunity to find a resolution to the scratches and dent. As mentioned in your review keeping the minimal shipping insurance charge is always a better option than having to find alternative means to fix or replace a custom shelf. We are confident that sending back the shelf will result in a seamless powder coat which will eliminate the scrapes and bruises. In order to mitigate the shipping costs a paint pen would be a viable alternative given the nature and location of the scratches and dent. Additional information will be sent directly through the email correspondence. Rad On!

I ordered 6 shelves of various sizes. They arrived very late. I called the customer service before I placed my order to check the delivery times. I was told 10 days. It took weeks. Once arrived, they were dumped at the building entrance. Once the packages opened, one shelf was damaged. The packaging was intact, so it must have happened before it left the factory premises. The shelves themselves are sturdy and very good looking. You will need a professional to install - super heavy!
