Inspired by my late aunt, who filled her space with layered memories and milestones, I set out to do the same. Each shelf holds a mix of moments that matter: travel photos, degrees, greenery, and snapshots of life with my husband—and room for photos of our future family.”
“Our family room shelves are a focal point of the house. With grown-up kids flying the nest, I use my shelves to display holiday pictures from times past and highlight accomplishments from this busy time of life. There’s an inherited record collection, a bust from a trip to Greece, and a little teapot given to me by the kindest person I’ve ever met. It’s not about the perfect look—it’s the story of our life.”
