"Round peg, square hole, no way! Not at Shelfology. Many pro contractors and builders that use Shelfology brackets prefer to construct hollow shelves, which leave four flat sides on the interior of the shelf. They faced the challenge of getting full structural support out of the standard bracket by shimming the round rods to fit the square hole. This was laborious and unnecessary, so our development team stepped up to provide a square-rodded bracket that fits perfectly inside hollow shelves, with no shimming needed. The Aksel Hollow Core Floating Shelf Bracket has rods that lay flush with the entire upper back bar of the bracket and allow any hollow-core shelf to set evenly across the entire support structure.
