At Shelfology, we’ve built our reputation on fun, high quality, and sleek design. And Semihandmade built theirs on bringing the kitchen renovation market to heel with affordable, cool, easy-to-install cabinetry. Sooner or later, these two sweet brands were destined to team up.
As we move out of the days of gray and white kitchens, it’s the perfect time to give our customers the next level of options and colors to incorporate into their home designs. Tastemakers and interior designers have known about both brands for years, and we’ve seen projects roll out with both Semihandmade cabinets and Shelfology shelves featuring up front and center. Now, we are stoked to announce that you can shop Shelfology’s new line of dreamy hardwood shelf options and Semihandmade-curated powder coat colors all in one place!
Mojo + Mojo = More Mojo
We’ve long admired the work ethic of Semihandmade founder John McDonald and how he turned what appeared to be a modest idea- offering custom Ikea cabinet fronts- into a market that turned traditional kitchen planning on its head. The ability to see space in the marketplace and have a pulse on what’s next for designers, DIY'ers, and everyone in between, is a skill many covet but few ever attain. Our vision for growth is aligned so well with Semihandmade’s brand that it was literally a no-brainer. Who wouldn’t want to partner with a brand that worked its literal buttocks off with sweat and tears and long days in the wood shop to earn the respect of an entire industry?
Semihandmade is based on a sweet idea, their products and business model are killer, plus they are nice people—almost as nice as us. Who wouldn't want to partner with them?! Seriously, though, their brand and products are a perfect dovetail with Shelfology's, and we are stoked to add our mojo to theirs.
